Championing Worker Safety in Unpredictable Weather
I had the honour of joining Andrea Heng and Hairianto Diman on their radio show to discuss a crucial issue for businesses operating outdoors in Singapore: protecting workers as weather conditions become increasingly unpredictable.
At BNL, the well-being of our team is our top priority. I shared how we are implementing safety measures to shield our workers from extreme weather, continuously refining our guidelines to meet evolving challenges. We are grateful to our partners for recognising these challenges and supporting our efforts to adapt.
This conversation reinforced the need for all companies to take proactive steps in safeguarding their workforce, especially as weather patterns become more volatile. The latest guidelines from the Ministry of Manpower and WSH Council serve as a strong foundation for businesses to enhance worker protection.
Let’s collaborate to create safer, more resilient, and healthier workplaces for all.

Embracing Change: A Key to Driving Transformation
To incite change, we must first embrace change ourselves.
It was a great pleasure to be part of the Enterprise Growth Conference, organised by the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) and the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI).
During the panel discussion, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with the Guest of Honour, Minister of State for Education, Ms. Siow Huang Gan, who spoke about the nation's vision for a skills-first strategy and the support available to companies navigating the changing economic landscape.
The panel discussion was both engaging and insightful, as I had the opportunity to learn from Aslam S. (CEO of IHRP), Tan Wong Tong (CHRO, ST Logistics), and Aye Wee Yap (Group Head of Learning & Transformation, OCBC) on how they have approached implementing skills-based strategies within their organisations.
